"One voice, one drone and the entire range of human emotions"
A while back we stumbled upon a track by an artist who was improvising with a basic setup, creating a tune which exuded both stunning simplicity and abysmal depth. Using nothing but one simple melody and a drone he created what could be considered the embodiment of raw beauty and something so pure that it's hard to escape its gravitational pull.
The track "Rise" by WUOT was included in our "Raw Øblations" series because of its power in reminding us that art is created in the moment and how perfection lives in the most unpolished of things. Simplicity does not counteract the creation of a masterpiece but rather invites it.

On December 16 2021 we announced our Darker Sounds Of A Present Future contest. And the response was overwhelming. Dozens of high level producers went into their studios and crafted a track based on the sample library provided with the compilation.
It was not a simple task to select one emerging track from the mass of high quality submissions, but we found one:
“Motion.Revolving” by our friend MODEKT.
It will be featured on the second installment of the Darker Sounds Of A Present Future compilation series.
